The award for the Foundation “All of Poland Reads to Kids” at the 21st Economic Forum in Krynica, Poland
We are happy to announce that the Foundation “All of Poland Reads to Kids” was recognized by the Council of the Economic Forum in Krynica the "NGO of Central and Eastern Europe" for its significant contribution to improvement of the living and operating standards of people and institutions in the region”. It was also underlined that the Foundation effectively helps to build and strengthen the civil society. On receiving the award, the President of the Foundation, Ms Irena Koźmińska reminded of the new programme “All of Europe Reads to Kids” inaugurated in June 2011, which has already been implemented in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania. The Foundation strives that the idea of reading aloud to children- 20 minutes a day, everyday - is spread, recognized and introduced as a daily habit in families, kindergartens and schools in other European countries.
The Economic Forum is a prestigious annual event organized in Krynica Górska, located in the South of Poland, which gathers the representatives of the governments, business, media mainly from the Central and Eastern Europe. The Forum's Programme Council recognizes persons, companies and institutions from this region for their activities, efficiency and achievements in the previous year.
